Le Roubion
From Bourdeaux to Pont-de-Barret, you'll find plenty of spots for swimming and relaxation. Feel free to walk along the river to find the perfect place for you. During periods of intense heat, the water level can sometimes be low: in that case, it's best to head towards Francillon-sur-Roubion. Explore the map!
La Drôme et la Vallée de la Roanne
The Drôme river is one of the last wild rivers in France, renowned for its clear waters and preserved natural landscapes between mountains and hills.
It offers many swimming spots. During the season, we recommend continuing further into the valley along the road that runs alongside the Drôme river to find quieter areas (after Saillans).

Le Jabron, Le Lez
Smaller but very pleasant. There are a few pools of water, but these rivers are mainly great places to relax in a lovely spot. Explore the map!

Dieulefit
(14 km)More of a market town than a village, you can find all kinds of shops as well as designer boutiques in the long pedestrian street.
Soyan /Saou ♥
(13 km) On the way to Saou, stop at Soyan and climb up to the old castle. Renowned for its exceptional views.
Taulignan
(18 km) On the road to Grignan, surrounded by medieval ramparts, Taulignan has a rich artisanal heritage.

Châteauneuf, Mont Carmel

Starting from the Cabane, set off on an hour's walk to discover the old village and Mount Carmel, which overlooks the plain. Stop on the bench for a break to admire the view.
The Ferret's Hole

This hike will take you to an altitude of 800 meters. The view is magnificent, and a geological curiosity awaits you! Expect a significant elevation gain in the first few kilometers.
Hillside Tour

The Veyou, the highest of the 3 Becs peaks, offers a challenging climb with spectacular panoramic views over the Drôme valley and all the way to the Écrins mountains. At the summit, the 360° view more than rewards the effort.

Canoeing on the Drôme
30 to 40 minutes from the gîte depending on the chosen starting point. From June, sometimes May, several routes are available through rental companies. We recommend the routes around 10km upstream from Saillans.
